On this #TigerTuesday we celebrate the publication of the very first episode of Tiger’s Tale. That episode was printed in the premiere issue of World of Martial Arts magazine. That February/March 1996 issue is currently still available. The following episode would see print in the iconic issue of what was then titled Kung Fu Qigong magazine. This issue as also significant because it marked the first time a shaolin monk was featured in an English language magazine.
Shaolin Monk Shi Yang Ming would go on to some acclaim and controversy as Kung Fu teacher to such people as The RZA and actor Bokeem Woodbine.
