The Kung Fu Comic by a Kung Fu Master – Shadow Ghost, has a new issue arriving in October. Created by Sifu Kurtis Fujita this next issue will feature a number of original variant covers. The first two in this line up of artists have roots in the comic Wulin.
Patrick Lugo @plugoarts served as Senior Designer/Art Director for Kung Fu Tai Chi magazine, where he created the long-running Tiger’s Tale comic series. His work includes Little Monk & the Mantis and his current opus, Undead Kung Fu Ghost Killer.
Kang Jing (KJ) @chiralcomics is a Singapore-based comic and cover artist whose work spans major franchises including Marvel, Star Wars, Power Rangers, and Archie Comics along with his new Super Hero series, Lionborne.

Both creators have cross paths a number of times. The first was in 2023 when KJ submitted work to the 2023 MAKE MORE COMIC arts grant – it was the year Patrick Lugo was a Member of the judging committee. While the judging process remains undisclosed here is a glimpse of that initial encounter.
