Wuxia Warrior: David Jamieson

Today’s Wuxia Warrior is a true life-long Kung Fu practitioner Here’s what he had to say about his Wuxia Warrior commission

Patrick exceeded my expectations and sent me a really terrific piece of art depicting myself practicing kung fu after I had given support to his Tigers Tale volume 1 and became one of his Wuxia Warriors. I have enjoyed Patricks art works and comics for quite some time now and since his time at Kung Fu Magazine where he contributed art for quite some time. I’m happy with the piece he did of me as Wuxia Warrior #4 and it is now a part of my own art collection in my home.

David Jamieson

About David—

I’m David Jamieson and have been a practitioner and student of Traditional Chinese Martial arts for more than 40 years.
I am a Shaolin Black Tiger practitioner and have the good luck to have met a training partner from another Shaolin Black Tiger family with whom I have spent the last 22 years regularly training with.

Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, I have been living in the Toronto area for the last 25 years and have flourished in many areas including Freemasonry, Art, Kung Fu and Music.
I am a member of the Widows Sons Masonic Riding association and in this group, every year, together we raise a great deal of monies that are distributed to local charities in a way that has high impact and aids them in their goals of service to the community. This life of Kung Fu, Music, Masonry, Motorcycling and Art that I have been developing for many years now is satisfying. I am now 61 years old and still derive great benefit from the practice of Kung fu, Chi Kung, Nei Kung and Chan meditation. I would urge anyone to take up practice at any time and to focus on the improvement of self that it offers. All the best to Patrick on his future endeavours and art works and I look forward to seeing more.
