Sifu Brian Kuttel began training in Choy Li Fut Kung Fu and Yang Tai Chi in 2000. By 2004 Brian was instructor of children’s and beginner classes. Moving to San Francisco, California, he studies with world renowned
martial arts Grandmaster and president of the Plum Blossom International Federation, Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong, and his son, Tai Sifu Jason J. Wong. Through the guidance of Tai Sifu Jason Wong and mentorship of Grandmaster Doc-Fai Wong, Brian was accepted as a disciple under Tai Sifu Jason J. Wong in 2014.

Sifu Brian currently posts on two youtube channels, one for Choy Li Fut Kung Fu at YouTube.com/@sifukuttel , and one for Tai Chi at YouTube.com/@sifukutteltaichi

Sifu Kuttel has online learning programs for kung fu, tai chi, and various weapons at Sifukuttel.com and is also the author/illustrator of the book “Monkey Movement” and is currently Illustrating his next book on Choy Li Fut kicking techniques.

Marlon Mckenney the San Francisco-based African American illustrator, author, and creative director. Heavily influenced by the conscious Hip-Hop movement of the early ’90s emphasizing African history, culture, and black pride, Marlon studied Black
Studies at Long Beach State University. Later
graduating from the Academy of Art College in SF with a degree in illustration, Marlon spent decades working in advertising and animation in the corporate sector.
Getting back to his roots, in 2017, Marlon founded Conscious Culture Publishing, which focuses exclusively on African historical fiction and diverse,
multicultural content. Leveraging 3D technology, Marlon creates highly-detailed illustrations and animations that bring African histories, mythologies,
and legends to life. Marlon has also practiced Muay Thai kickboxing for the past 14 years.
